ABOUT US
INTRODUCTION
UHSPL is an engineering, manufacturing and contracting company engaged in water infrastructure and hydro-mechanical works, and is an offshoot of Universal Engineering Company, established in 1984.
The company undertakes water infrastructure works including pipe aqueducts, hydraulic gates for dams and canals, cross-country pipelines, water supply systems, prefabricated structures, and structural fabrication works.
UHSPL is currently operating across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and West Bengal. The company undertakes projects on both turnkey and item-rate basis, supported by in-house resources, equipment, and experienced manpower.
LEADERSHIP
UHSPL is led by Shri Sanjay Mandhana, who brings over 40 years of experience in water infrastructure and hydro-mechanical works.
He has been closely involved in the execution of hydraulic structures, pipe aqueducts, and gate systems across multiple states, with a strong focus on practical implementation and site-level execution.
He currently oversees a group of companies engaged in hydro-mechanical gate systems, heavy structural fabrication, cross-country pipeline projects, and lift irrigation works, contributing to the overall execution strength of the organisation.
OUR JOURNEY
UHSPL is a pioneer in the execution of MS Pipe Aqueducts in Madhya Pradesh, with its first project commissioned in 1986 at Mohi Tank, District Chhindwara.
Since then, over 1500 pipe aqueduct structures have been executed across neighbouring states. One of the notable works includes the mechanical pipe aqueduct at the Purva Main Canal of the Bansagar Project, where a 2000 mm diameter pipe aqueduct was constructed at a height of 17 meters across a 250-meter river span, completed in a record time of 22 days.
Over the years, the company has consistently moved towards improved methods of construction and execution. This includes the use of prefabricated construction for faster delivery, such as the construction of 1400 units within a period of 4 months.
Building on this approach, UHSPL is now focused on the implementation of Highly Specialised and innovative Top-Hinged Float Gates (Automatic), offering a more efficient and reliable system for water control and management.
The company has delivered works across varied site conditions, including remote and challenging locations, with a consistent focus on quality and timely completion.
